6ZP Terms of Use
By accessing or using 6ZP (6zp.net), you agree to be bound by 6ZP's Terms of Use in their entirety. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of 6ZP immediately.
1. Nature of Service
6ZP is a browser-based file compression, extraction, and archive modification tool provided as a free, voluntary service. All file processing within 6ZP occurs locally inside your web browser. The entity responsible for operating 6ZP is identified in 6ZP's Impressum at 6zp.net/impressum.
2. As-Is Provision
6ZP is provided strictly on an "AS IS", "WHERE IS", and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, with all faults and defects, whether known or unknown, visible or hidden. The entity operating 6ZP expressly disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, completeness, currentness, and freedom from errors, defects, interruptions, viruses, or other harmful components.
3. No Warranties
No advice, information, or materials obtained through 6ZP shall create any warranty. The entity operating 6ZP does not warrant that 6ZP will meet your requirements, that 6ZP will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis, that results obtained through 6ZP will be accurate or reliable, that files compressed, extracted, or modified through 6ZP will be free from corruption or data loss, or that any defects in 6ZP will be identified or corrected.
4. Assumption of Risk
You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of 6ZP is entirely at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for all consequences arising from your use of 6ZP, including any loss, corruption, or alteration of files processed through 6ZP.
5. Not Suitable for Mission-Critical Applications
6ZP is not designed, intended, authorized, or certified for use in mission-critical applications. Mission-critical applications include, without limitation, systems where failure could lead to personal injury, loss of life, or environmental damage, applications involving primary or sole storage of irreplaceable data, regulated industries requiring certified or validated tools, and any use case where archive integrity must be guaranteed. You bear sole responsibility for determining whether 6ZP is appropriate for your intended use.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the entity operating 6ZP, together with its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, successors, and assigns, shall bear no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, including damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, files, business opportunities, revenue, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or inability to use 6ZP, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and regardless of whether the entity operating 6ZP has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions where complete exclusion of liability is not permitted, the total aggregate liability of the entity operating 6ZP for all claims shall not exceed one euro (€1.00).
7. Indemnification
You agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the entity operating 6ZP, together with its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, licensors, successors, and assigns, from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of 6ZP, your violation of these Terms of Use, your violation of any applicable law or regulation, your infringement of any third-party rights including intellectual property rights, and any files or content you process through 6ZP.
8. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for all files you compress, extract, or modify through 6ZP. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent backups of all files before processing any files through 6ZP. You are solely responsible for verifying the integrity and completeness of all output produced by 6ZP. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of 6ZP complies with all laws and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for holding all necessary rights and permissions for any files you process through 6ZP.
9. Intellectual Property
6ZP, including 6ZP's name, logos, visual design, source code, and all associated intellectual property, remains the exclusive property of the entity identified in 6ZP's Impressum. These Terms of Use grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use 6ZP as a file compression tool in accordance with these Terms of Use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
10. Service Continuity
The entity operating 6ZP reserves the right to modify, suspend, limit, or permanently discontinue 6ZP, in whole or in part, at any time, for any reason or for no reason, with or without prior notice. The entity operating 6ZP bears no obligation to maintain, support, update, or continue providing 6ZP.
11. Modification of Terms
The entity operating 6ZP reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms of Use at any time. Your continued use of 6ZP following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms of Use. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms of Use periodically.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the entity operating 6ZP is registered, as identified in 6ZP's Impressum at 6zp.net/impressum, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make the provision valid and enforceable while preserving the original intent.
14. No Waiver
Failure by the entity operating 6ZP to enforce any provision of these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision or any other provision at any future time.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with 6ZP's Privacy Policy at 6zp.net/privacy and 6ZP's Impressum at 6zp.net/impressum, constitute the entire agreement between you and the entity operating 6ZP regarding your use of 6ZP and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications on the subject matter.
16. Translations
These Terms of Use may be provided in languages other than English as a courtesy to visitors of 6ZP. In the event of any conflict, discrepancy, or inconsistency between the English-language version and any translated version of these Terms of Use, the English-language version shall prevail in all cases.
